With a stability level of 10 in 10, the Nelo 400 makes paddling easy for everyone, even those who never paddle before. 

As usual, Nelo wants the best performance possible even in an entry-level boat, which makes the Nelo 400 probably the fastest boat in its range.

The Nelo 400 is developed with special features for your comfort, such as an optimized seating position(no back pain) a controllable rudder, neoprene handles, a full footrest and a spacious storage area.

The Nelo 400 is available in 4 different versions:

– Standard

– Ocean: Equipped with a wave deflector that keeps excess water out of your cockpit and leg leash as a fall-back safety option if capsizing.

– Fishing: Includes fishing rod holders and two fishing bags for those busy days.

– Expedition: Enjoy your paddling moment with a seat backband for extra comfort, a front hatch for extra storage and a back plastic hatch for a real water-proof partition.

The Enaleia x Nelo 400 is crafted using 70% recycled materials, with 50% of its total composition made from plastics reclaimed from our oceans, blended with post-consumer materials for enhanced quality. 

Each kayak is not only eco-friendly but unique—thanks to the use of recycled materials, no colors are ever exactly alike. 

Designed to last for decades, the Nelo 400 reduces the need for frequent replacements, minimizing waste and helping lower carbon emissions, making it a more sustainable choice for environmentally conscious adventurers.

Construction Options

P Polyethylene Built-in polyethene material. With more than 50% recycled material!
A1 Fiberglass Epoxy This is the basic layup that is meant to be an affordable option for touring and learning boats.
F Hybrid Carbon Epoxy A very durable and resistant layup, ideal for sprint training and competition. A great balance between stiffness and price.
WWR Carbon/Kevlar Epoxy It was specifically developed for down river, marathon training, and sea racing. It stands out for the balance between its lightness and stiffness.
G Carbon Honeycomb Epoxy High-quality construction, amazing stiffness, prepared for high performance.
E Lightweight Carbon Epoxy It was specifically developed for marathon events. As light as it can be while being very resilient in a demanding sport.
SCS Solid Composite System Provides an excellent performance level because of it’s extreme stiffness, the result of using state-of-the-art materials and technologies.
Ideal for high level competition. This layup also stands out for the available options, such as, weights, covers, fittings and designs.
FC Full Carbon The beauty of a clear carbon boat while being the stiffest layup, all possible by using an infusion process for maximum fiber and resin impregnation.
AIR Ultralight Weight Was specifically developed for surfski boats, standing out for being extremely lightweight.
It’s especially suited for high performance in all conditions.
