Given the amazing feedback Nelo received from the ST models and all the benefits from the concept models they presented during the 2023 Marathon World Championships, they introduce the final version of the K1 Vanquish Cinco L in the sit-on-top variety.

This version – the ST – combines the best of both worlds: the performance of a sprint boat, with the versatility and safety of a sit-on-top.

It is only available on the Vanquish Cinco L model, but Nelo expect to present a smaller version.

When developing the sitting area for these models they aimed for a comfortable space but mostly making sure you could empty all the water just by picking up the boat. This makes it perfect for marathon, not only by making it easier to remove water but also by minimising the amount of water that can be inside the boat in any given time.

One other big advantage is that in the event of a capsize the remount is much easier and of course once back in the emptying process is also much faster making sure you can get back into the race.

As being mostly a long distance purposed boat, weight is very relevant, that is why the ST only comes in the AIR layup, normally associated with our ultra light surf skis. Being an AIR implies it is only available on the light grey matt finish.

Although being a sit-on-top, the ST can be equipped with all the same fittings as the regular boat, including movable seats and footrests (pedal footrest as standard). Meaning that you can use the same accessories as in any K1. Additionally, Nelo will introduce accessories tailor made for this boat that will enhance its capabilities.
